Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Janitor/Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and safety across our facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in various areas such as offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces
- Conduct commercial cleaning tasks using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, fixtures, and furniture to uphold facility standards
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to ensure safety and functionality of the environment
- Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and toilet paper in restrooms and break areas
- Follow safety procedures and use personal protective equipment when handling cleaning chemicals or performing maintenance tasks
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for resolution
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance preferred
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and best practices
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality of work
- Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Reliable work ethic with the ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment at all times
Pay: $18.28-$25.00 per hour
