Job Duties
- Determine the most cost-effective and efficient methods of shipping
- Prepare shipping and receiving documentation
- Pack outgoing goods and attach packing slips
- Direct delivery trucks and assist drivers with unloading shipments
- Inspect, count, and verify incoming goods for accuracy
- Record all shipped and received items accurately
- Unpack and store received goods in designated locations
- Complete documentation for damaged or returned items and route appropriately
- Coordinate pick-ups and deliveries with carriers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Operate pallet jacks and other stockroom equipment as required
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred
- Basic to intermediate computer skills
- Forklift certification, WHMIS knowledge, and First Aid training are considered assets
Work Conditions
- Primarily indoor warehouse work with some outdoor activity during unloading
- Standing, lifting, and physical activity required throughout the day
