Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA) Intake Coordinator
iScope Concussion & Pain Clinics is seeking a highly organized and compassionate MVA Intake Coordinator to join our growing team in Mississauga.

In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients involved in Motor Vehicle Accidents (MVA), helping guide them through the intake process and ensuring they receive timely access to care. You will work closely with patients, insurers, legal representatives, healthcare providers, and our clinical team to coordinate appointments, collect documentation, and support a seamless patient experience.

Responsibilities
- Coordinate the intake of Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) referrals and rehabilitation cases.
- Collect Accident Benefits (AB) and insurance information to establish new patient files.
- Review referrals and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Schedule patients with the appropriate healthcare providers based on clinical needs and availability.
- Communicate with patients, insurers, legal representatives, adjusters, and referring healthcare providers.
- Confirm appointments and provide patients with information about their upcoming visits.
- Maintain accurate electronic patient records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Follow up on outstanding referrals, medical records, and required documentation.
- Monitor active cases to ensure timely scheduling and continuity of care.
- Collaborate with clinicians and administrative staff to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
- Support ongoing process improvements and other administrative duties as required.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Kinesiology, Health Sciences, Rehabilitation, Medical Office Administration, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Previous experience in healthcare administration, patient intake, case coordination, or rehabilitation services.
- Experience working with Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) claims or Ontario Accident Benefits is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule (SABS) is an asset.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Comfortable working with EMR systems and Microsoft Office applications.
This position is integral to delivering quality patient care following motor vehicle accidents. The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and a solid understanding of healthcare processes to effectively support patients through their recovery journey.
Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

- Bachelor's Degree (required)

- Medical terminology: 2 years (preferred)
