Summary
We are seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to join our team in Canada. Based in your local area, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate support to our clients, helping them maintain independence and quality of life while aligning with our values of empathy and transparency.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes, including mobility support and daily living activities.
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions as prescribed.
- Support clients with dementia or disabilities by implementing tailored care plans.
- Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
- Uphold safety standards and promote a respectful environment.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and meal preparation.
- Use technology tools provided by the company to report on client progress and ensure transparency.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home health care.
- Strong understanding of senior care, dementia, and disability support.
- Certification or training as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and compassionate nature.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures.
- Experience with caregiving tasks including cleaning and meal prep is advantageous.
