CoSA VFX is looking for a collaborative, flexible, organized, and strategic person to join the team in the role of VFX Producer.
CoSA VFX Producers manage and guide their projects while building partnerships with clients, not only to manage client expectations but to achieve the highest levels of client satisfaction through exceptional communication, strategic foresight and upholding the creative quality of the work. For CoSA, managing and supervising are both key components of the Producer’s role.While working within the structure of established production management workflows, a CoSA VFX Producer will adapt to meet the needs of each client and each project as efficiently as possible by crafting and scheduling the internal team to support the needs of the client strategically to keep within internal financial targets.
This opportunity is ideal for a VFX Producer who enjoys working collaboratively in smaller teams across an international group where a high level of communication and organization are required. Candidates should have a concrete understanding of the CG Asset, FX and compositing workflows from both a scheduling and financial perspective. A good VFX Producer candidate should have 3+ years of experience working with multiple clients, bidding 2D and CG work, and demonstrate effective communication when leading smaller teams.
This role reports to the Vice President of Production Operations.
This role is overtime exempt due to the primary duties and management/supervisor nature of the role. The salary range for this position is $100,000-$150,000 per year
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Act as the main point of contact for clients with respect to budget, scheduling and scope

Work in concert with VFX Supervisor to ensure the show’s financial and creative success.

Create and maintain project bids using an established bidding process

Create the overall budget and schedule for the project

Manage the project budget and schedule, directing resources as needed to ensure that budgetary requirements and timelines are met

Use studio tools to disseminate information, track progress and flag concerns

Communicate project milestones, budgets and targets

Identify and suggest solutions to roadblocks & gaps
REQUIREMENTS:

Demonstrated superior client relations skills

Excellent communication and management skills

Experience bidding a wide range of VFX shots

Knowledge of pipeline workflow in a post-production environment

Strong organizational skills along with high level of attention to detail
QUALIFICATIONS:
-
3-5 years as a VFX producer in episodic television, film or commercial projects

Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel / Word / Outlook

Familiarity with Flow Production Tracker / ShotGrid / ShotGun
