Overview
We are seeking a motivated and personable Sales Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and displaying products in retail environments, ensuring optimal presentation to attract customers and drive sales. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a customer-focused attitude, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting. The candidate must be able to work on their feet for extended periods of time and lift product weighing potentially up to 20lbs. Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain product displays according to company standards to maximize visibility and appeal
- Restock shelves and ensure products are properly labeled and organized
- Engage with customers courteously, providing information about products and assisting with inquiries
- Monitor inventory levels and report low stock or out-of-stock items for replenishment
- Ensure the cleanliness and safety of the merchandising area
- Collaborate with store staff to coordinate promotional activities and special displays
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills in English
- Previous experience in merchandising is preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Friendly, approachable demeanor with a passion for helping customers
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including weekends if required
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between multiple retail locations as needed
