Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Registered Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, support the dental team, and ensure smooth clinical operations. Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including restorative, orthodontic, and pediatric treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
- Assisting and patient monitoring during sedation treatments
- Take digital radiographs
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Manage patient records accurately using Gold dental software
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards
- Support front desk staff with administrative duties related to patient check-in/out when necessary
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment at all times
Qualifications
- Valid license as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in Alberta
- Proven experience in dental assisting, preferably with knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
- Proficiency with dental management software including Gold is highly desirable
- Familiarity with Itero for digital scanning
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and backgrounds
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $28.00-$35.00 per hour
