The Opportunity:
The Bilingual Representative, Insurance is responsible for keeping the property insurance records up to date for all residential customers, for monitoring insurance claims and maintaining First National’s force placed insurance policy. Demonstrate a keen understanding of First National’s culture, services, as well as the mortgage industry in general to understand the unique needs for each position.
How you will contribute:
- Update cancellations
- Follow up on insurance policies
- Answer customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Monitor insurance claims, while working with customers and insurance adjustors
- Maintain force placed policy and report to insurance broker each month
- Complete special projects as assigned by Management
The experience you need:
- Post-secondary education and/or equivalent work experience required
- Proficient in MS Office applications, specifically Outlook, Word and Excel
- Strong communication skills, verbal and written, in both French and English
- Confident and assertive phone manner
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proven ability to accurately process high volumes of work
- Proven organizational skills and demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Bilingual in French is an asset
Working Environment and Physical Demands Analysis:
- Office environment
- Periods of high volume with tight timelines
- Long periods of stationary position/sitting
- Prolonged periods of repetitive movement (i.e. using a keyboard and mouse)
- Long periods of time in viewing a computer screen
- Multi-tasking may include speaking to customers on a telephone call while looking up information on a computer program.
