Overview
We are seeking a dependable and motivated General Labourer to join our maintenance and manufacturing team. This role involves supporting daily operations through hands-on tasks related to equipment maintenance, assembly, and warehouse activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and experience working with various tools and machinery in a manufacturing or warehouse environment. Duties
- Assist with the assembly, disassembly, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment using hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely to move materials and products throughout the facility.
- Perform routine inspections of machinery and work areas to identify potential issues or safety hazards.
- Support the setup and changeover of production lines as needed for different manufacturing processes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse and production areas to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory management, including loading, unloading, and stocking supplies or finished goods.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during operations.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse work, or related fields is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with assembly processes are highly advantageous.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus but not required.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment.
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods.
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail for safety inspections and equipment upkeep.
- Prior experience with warehouse operations or industrial environments is desirable.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
Pay: $15.96-$27.83 per hour
