Job description:
- General labourer tasks associated with cladding construction
- High degree of safety awareness and commitment to safety, his/her own and other workers
- Operate and care for construction equipment and machines
- Prep sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards
- Assist skilled labourer when necessary
- Load and unload construction materials
- Follow instruction from supervisors
- Ready to learn on-the-job training when necessary
- Perform site clean up
- Read drawings/specifications to determine layout for installation procedures
- Take measurements to be used for installations
- Install commercial exterior siding
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in commercial cladding installation
- High degree of safety awareness and commitment to safety, his/her own and other workers
- Know all OHSA construction jobsite requirements
- Know and understand building and construction methods, materials and tools
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to travel with designated crew and supervisor to various locations out of town for runs (up to 11-day intervals)
- Must be dependable and punctual
- Ability to do physical labour and other strenuous physical tasks
- Ability to lift 50-100lbs
- Working at Heights certificate an asset
- Elevated Work Platform certificate an asset
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Driver’s License an asset
- Criminal Record Check – Level 2

Compensation: Starting rate of $21.00/hour, based on experience and qualifications.
