Answer Trailer Rentals & Sales is looking to add a 2nd year Apprentice Welder / Fabricator. We are a well-known business located in Spruce Grove. Our company is continuously growing and expanding and now it is time to add to our team.
Reporting to the Service Manager, you will provide quality workmanship on our own equipment, customer equipment, and custom fabrication projects. This position is full-time, 42.5 hours per week with occasional overtime.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Perform welding repair inspections and time estimates on both on and off-road equipment
- General welding repairs on trailers, trucks, and custom equipment
- Custom fabrication and
- Models Excellent Housekeeping Practices
- Completes all required paperwork in a timely manner
- Custom fabrication as required.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- General ferrous welding experince an asset
- Positive attitude and team player
- Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving ability
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding duties
- Safety contentious
- Has own tools relevant to the trade for daily use (shop provides specialty tools and equipment)
- Minimum of 1 year of welding experience
