Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and hardworking Movers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the loading and unloading of items during residential and commercial moves. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, be capable of heavy lifting, and have experience in moving or warehouse environments. Your ability to communicate effectively and work as part of a team will be essential to ensure a smooth moving process for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload furniture and other items from trucks or containers.
- Pack items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Operate moving equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, and forklifts when necessary.
- Communicate clearly with team members and clients to ensure all needs are met during the moving process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the warehouse and moving vehicles.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure the safety of yourself and your team members while handling heavy items.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking items being moved and reporting any discrepancies.
Experience
- Previous experience in moving, warehouse operations, or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience operating commercial vehicles or forklifts is a plus but not mandatory.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills in a fast-paced environment are essential for success in this role.
