The Press Operator is responsible for facilitating the stamping and production of metal building products through the operation of stamping presses.
Major Areas of Responsibilities

Daily inspections of press

Load coil
-
Feeding/loading coil
-
Die setup
-
Preparing labels for boxes
-
Producing product using various presses
-
Inspection of product
-
Packaging product
-
Stack boxes onto skids
-
Complete production paperwork
-
Report press or die issues to maintenance

General housekeeping of work area
-
Other duties as required

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this position, the employee will have exposure to a production facility with operating machinery, mechanical parts and moving vehicles. The noise level in this environment is moderate, and can reach very high levels in the production plant when running the stamping presses as well as certain other machinery. Some areas of this environment are exposed to outdoor weather conditions
