Job Description
Vyoma Health is seeking a registered Kinesiologist to provide community-based rehabilitation services to ICBC clients. This role involves working in clients’ homes and community settings to support recovery, functional improvement, and safe return to daily activities following motor vehicle accidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individualized kinesiology and exercise-based rehabilitation programs
- Conduct functional assessments and progress evaluations
- Support clients with strength, mobility, conditioning, and functional retraining
- Educate clients on injury prevention, posture, and safe movement strategies
- Document treatment sessions and progress notes in accordance with ICBC requirements
- Communicate and collaborate with the rehabilitation team (OTs, PTs, case managers)
- Travel within the community to client locations as required
Key Qualifications (Required)
- Registered Kinesiologist with the British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK)
- Active Professional Liability Insurance
- Experience working with ICBC clients and/or community rehabilitation is an asset
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a community-based setting
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally
