We are looking for a Junior Pastry Cook who is passionate about pastry/bakery products and willing to learn and grow with us!
Part time position (25-30hrs/week) with opportunity to become full time. Candidate must have availability to work at least one day of the weekend.

Main responsibilities:
· Work under professional pastry cooks in making entremets, cakes, tarts and assorted pastries and fillings
· Prepare and decorate cakes, pastries, desserts and baked goods (including croissants and breads, specialty cakes, and other items as required)
· Coordinate with front of house to ensure proper daily baked goods availability for our guests.
· Contribute to custom cakes and dessert table production (working with fondant, tempered chocolate, etc)
· Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and safe
Experience:
· Previous experience in professional pastry kitchen
· Completion of a baking + pastry program is a strong asset
Ideal Candidate:
· Must LOVE food! We mean it.
· Food Handler Certificate
· Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
· Must possess good attitude, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure/fast paced environment
· Knowledge of chocolate tempering is a strong asset
· Ability to stand for extended period of time
· Ability to lift up to 20kg
· Ability to work morning shifts, weekdays, weekends, holidays
· Ability to organize, prioritize, multitask and listen to instruction.
· Proof of work eligibility in Canada
Salary: $17.6-$18 per hour (based on experience)
