Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our dedicated dental team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, promote oral health education, and support the overall success of our practice. The RDH will collaborate closely with dentists and other team members to ensure comprehensive dental care for patients of all ages, including pediatrics.
Duties
- Perform dental prophylaxis, including cleaning and polishing teeth to remove plaque, tartar, and stains
- Take dental radiographs as needed
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies
- Assist in the application of sealants and fluoride treatments
- Document patient information accurately using dental software
- Support the dental team during procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Manage patient appointments, answer questions, and address concerns with excellent customer service skills
- Maintain sterilization protocols and ensure the cleanliness of treatment areas
- Collaborate with orthodontic specialists when necessary, especially for patients undergoing orthodontic treatment
- Communicate effectively with bilingual patients to ensure understanding of treatment plans and oral health instructions
Experience
- Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) is required
- Prior experience working in a dental office setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse patient populations, including bilingual communication abilities are advantageous
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry procedures and techniques is beneficial

Pay: $60.00-$70.00 per hour
