- Curriculum-Based Instruction
Weekly ESL lessons focusing on reading comprehension, literary analysis, and writing skills.
Guide students in mastering Critical Literary Essays and Personal Responses, using standardized structures and scoring rubrics based on diplomas.
Facilitate in-depth study of texts, including short stories, poems, plays, and non-fiction, helping students understand themes, characters, and rhetorical devices.
Design quizzes, mini-assignments, and mock exams; provide individual feedback to help students track their progress and improve writing clarity and depth.
Provide tailored instruction for ESL or struggling students, addressing vocabulary, grammar, and logical flow in comprehension and expression.
Prepare for practice exams, time management strategies, and answer breakdowns based on official scoring criteria.
Maintain a supportive and structured learning environment that encourages participation, critical thinking, and respectful discussion of literary topics.
- Parent & Program Communication
Provide periodic updates to the coordinator or parents (if applicable), summarizing attendance, participation, and progress.
