Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and assisting shoppers with their needs. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for retail sales, and knowledge of merchandising and cash handling. Experience in landscaping, gardening, horticulture, or e-commerce is a plus, but not required. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions and cash handling
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to ensure an attractive and organized store layout
- Provide product information and recommendations, especially related to home decor, fashion and gifts.
- Restock shelves as needed
- Promote ongoing sales campaigns and loyalty programs to enhance customer engagement
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills
- Prior experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and merchandising techniques
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Good interpersonal skills with a friendly attitude towards customers and team members
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support store operations
Pay: $16.75-$17.00 per hour
