Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Breakfast Server to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service during breakfast hours, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and smooth operation of the dining area. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining cleanliness standards to deliver a memorable dining experience for our guests. Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred, along with strong communication and multitasking skills.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive customer service throughout their breakfast experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve breakfast items, beverages, and handle cash transactions with proper cash handling procedures
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times
- Assist with food preparation and kitchen duties as needed to support smooth service flow
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with sanitation guidelines
- Handle guest inquiries professionally, providing information about menu items and restaurant policies
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle food safely and follow sanitation standards
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Experience in food handling, serving, and food industry operations is advantageous
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper sanitation procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Hospitality mindset with a focus on guest satisfaction and upselling opportunities
Pay: $17.60-$25.00 per hour
