● Receive booking requests and interact with guests during their stay, including dealing with expectations, conflict and questions on Cape Breton and the local area
● Process reservations, and assist with general administration
● Offer excellent customer service throughout
● Assist with meal and/or drinks service when required
● Be part of team with marketing, housekeeping, maintenance and other departments to ensure excellent customer service
● Be conversant in digital work and computers, including emails, check websites and social media, as well as being good communicator in person, on phone and digitally. These messages are conveyed via cabotshores.com, social media, the press, video, Destination Cape Breton and other tourism and cultural groups.

General information:
● Age 19+
● The applicant must be a Permanent Resident, Citizen, International Student or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment.
● Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with relevant provincial or territorial legislation and regulations
● Flexible schedule, often with split shift patterns.
● Staff rented housing may be available on site.
