Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional hospitality and customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience. On slower nights you may have tables in your section in addition to the wood.
Duties
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns or requests promptly.
- Process payments accurately through cashiering duties.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas, and overall restaurant environment.
- Adhere to all food safety and handling regulations to ensure guest safety.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and special requests.
Skills
- 3-5 years of Bartending & Serving experience
- Strong hospitality skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques.
- Familiarity with food service operations
- Proficiency in using Silverware and Open table would be an asset
- Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
