The Budtender is responsible for creating a meaningful client experience from the moment clients enter the store until such time they finalize the sale. They must have great knowledge and be willing to learn the variety of products we carry. Passionate about the industry, positive attitude, and willing to grow with the team, they must understand rules and regulations as well store policies. Assist customers and be able to guide them to the right selection based on their needs and request.

Position: Budtender/Shift Lead
Requirements: CannSell Certification, valid driver’s license (Full 'G' license preferred) but not a must. Clear Background Check
Position Summary:
As a Budtender, you will be an essential part of the client experience, guiding them through product options, providing knowledgeable recommendations, and delivering exceptional service. You’ll support the store’s sales goals, maintain a welcoming environment, and foster client trust and loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Assistance: Understand clients' needs, guide them through product selections, and provide personalized recommendations.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a comprehensive understanding of various cannabis strains, brands, and accessories to answer questions and suggest suitable products.
- Sales and Upselling: Use strong product knowledge and upselling techniques to meet and exceed daily sales targets.
- Customer Engagement: Actively listen to clients, gauge their preferences, and ensure an enjoyable experience that encourages repeat visits.
- Team Collaboration and Independence: Work effectively within a team or independently as required by store needs.
- Clear Communication: Communicate professionally with clients, staff, and management to ensure seamless service.
- Store Environment: Contribute to a positive atmosphere that enhances the client experience and builds customer loyalty.
- Organization and Detail: Stay organized and detail-oriented to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
Qualifications:
- CannSell Certification: Required for legally handling cannabis products.
- Cannabis Knowledge: Familiarity with various cannabis strains, brands, and accessories.
- Retail Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a retail setting.
- Driver’s License: A full 'G' license is preferred but not a must.
- Background Check: Clear criminal background required.
- Technology Skills: Proficient in using front/back office POS systems and Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.); must have a smartphone with a data plan.
- Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Physical Ability: Capable of lifting, stacking, and carrying items up to 50 pounds (22.5 kg).
