About the Role
Avon Recycling is hiring a Recycling Associate to support day-to-day operations at our Windsor recycling depot. This is a hands-on job focused on accurately counting and sorting beverage containers, keeping simple records, and providing friendly customer service in a busy, warehouse-style environment.
What You’ll Do
- Count beverage containers accurately and efficiently
- Sort materials following depot procedures
- Record totals clearly for each customer transaction
- Keep your work area clean, safe, and organized
- Provide friendly, professional customer service
- Follow safety guidelines and support end-of-shift cleanup
What We’re Looking For
- Strong attention to detail and comfort with repetitive tasks
- Basic math / mental math skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well with a team
- Comfortable working on your feet in a warehouse environment
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Customer-friendly attitude
Nice to have (not required): experience in retail, warehouse work, customer service, or cash handling.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
