Overview
The Owner Operator Driver plays a crucial role in the transportation industry, responsible for delivering freight efficiently and safely. The Owner Operator Driver will manage their own schedule, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
Duties
- Operate and maintain a commercial vehicle, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Transport freight to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Manage documentation related to shipments, including bills of lading and delivery receipts.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and maintenance activities.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
Skills
- Proficient in commercial driving with a valid driver's license and appropriate endorsements.
