The Position:
As a CNC Machine Operator - Tube Laser & Tube Bending, you will be responsible for the successful fabrication of precision tube components that support the construction of our modular AI data centers. You will handle the complete operation of CNC tube laser and tube bending machines, from setup and programming to final part production, working closely with fabrication and welding teams.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up, program, and operate BLM Group tube laser and bending machines
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Verify dimensional accuracy using calipers, protractors, and measuring tapes
- Monitor production quality and minimize scrap
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Other tasks as required
Experience:
- Previous experience operating CNC tube laser and tube bending machines
- Forklift and overhead crane experience is an asset
Technical Skills:
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Knowledge of metal fabrication processes
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
Schedule:
- Monday to Thursday 6:30am - 5pm
