Duties
- Conduct thorough inspections of properties to identify pest activity and entry points
- Apply appropriate pest control treatments using various products and techniques
- Use hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery safely and effectively for treatment applications
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, treatments, and follow-up actions
- Educate clients on pest prevention methods and recommended maintenance practices
- Assist in setting up bait stations, traps, and other pest control devices
- Ensure all work areas are kept clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations
- Operate and maintain equipment related to pest control procedures
Skills
- Strong knowledge of pest control techniques and safety protocols
- Experience with sales or customer service to effectively communicate with clients
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and farm machinery relevant to pest management tasks
- Ability to operate various equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Good physical stamina for working outdoors or in confined spaces for extended periods
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid driver’s license preferred for travel between job sites
- Valid Structural Exterminator License
