## About the role
We're starting production and building our floor team from the ground up. This is an entry-level Machine Operator role in a fast-paced, metal manufacturing environment. No prior experience running our lines is required — **we train on site.** What we're looking for is the right attitude: people who work safely, take pride in quality, and keep the line moving.
If you're mechanically inclined, dependable, and want a place to build a long-term career rather than just take a job, we want to hear from you.
## What you'll do
- Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery to produce product to specification- Load material, make adjustments, and run the line to hit daily targets
- Perform in-process quality checks and hold anything that's out of tolerance- Complete pre-start, quality, and end-of-shift checklists
- Keep your station clean and safe, and complete after-shift cleaning- Report machine faults, quality issues, and safety hazards right away
- Cross-train on additional machines as you grow
## What we're looking for
- A safety-first mindset — you follow procedure even when you're behind
- Attention to quality and pride in your work
- Efficiency and a good work ethic in a fast-paced setting
- Fluent in English (able to read, understand, and follow a production order and written procedures)
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable with hands-on work
- Reliable attendance and shift availability
- Team-oriented and willing to learn and cross-train
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for a full shift in a warm, physically demanding plant environment
## Assets (not required)
- Experience operating automatic or semi-automatic machinery
- Background in metal, steel, wire, or similar manufacturing
- Forklift or overhead crane experience (certification can be provided)
## What we offer
- **Competitive wage** — above the market mid-range, plus performance pay
- **On-site training** — we teach you the machines from day one
- **Medical insurance / benefits**
- **Career development** — a clear path from Trainee to Operator to Senior Operator, with pay increases at each step
- A brand-new team where the people who join early help shape how the floor runs
Pay: $25.80-$28.70 per hour
