Job Overview

Duties
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
- Manage medication inventory, including stock replenishment and proper storage
- Provide patient care by answering questions related to medications and usage instructions
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal requirements
- Maintain detailed records of medication transactions in accordance with regulatory standards
- Support medication administration processes as needed, ensuring proper documentation
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient treatment plans
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including infection control procedures and confidentiality policies
Experience
- Prior pharmacy technician experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals and healthcare
- Experience in patient care activities within a pharmacy or hospital setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety standards is essential
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
