Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental hygienst to join our dynamic dental practice. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnose oral health issues using advanced tools and technology.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Administer anesthesia, perform restorative procedures, extractions, root canals, and other dental treatments with precision and care.
- Utilize dental software such as Epic and Dentrix for record keeping, scheduling, and treatment documentation.
- Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions.
- Maintain strict adherence to safety protocols, infection control standards, and OSHA regulations.
- Stay current with industry advancements by participating in ongoing professional development and training.
Skills
- Proven experience working in a dental office environment with proficiency in Dentrix or similar practice management software.
- Familiarity with Epic electronic health records system is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and oral health.
- Experience working with pediatric patients (Pediatrics) is preferred.
- Skilled in the use of CAD technology for designing restorations or prosthetics.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate patients and collaborate with team members.
- Ability to handle multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
