We're growing and looking for a motivated team member to join our fire protection team. This role combines shop operations, extinguisher service, kitchen suppression work, shipping/receiving, and occasional field work.
No fire protection experience? That's okay we are willing to train the right person.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands on work, likes learning new skills, and wants to build a long term career with opportunities to grow.
What you'll do
- Receive, organize, and manage incoming inventory and materials
- Prepare and ship outgoing equipment and orders
- Service and maintain portable fire extinguishers
- Inspect, refill, and handle kitchen suppression cylinders and related equipment
- Maintain shop organization and inventory accuracy
- Prepare materials and equipment for technicians
- Assist with field work and customer service as required
- Complete service documentation accurately
- Follow safety procedures and company standards
What we're looking for
Required:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract
- Ability to lift and move equipment and materials
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred but not required:
- Shipping/receiving experience
- Mechanical aptitude
- Fire protection industry experience
- Warehouse experience
