We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented CNC router operator to join our team. The working hours are Monday to Friday 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, must have reliable transportation.
Typical Duties, Actions and Responsibilities:
· Load and unload materials onto and from the CNC router machine.
· Operate CNC router equipment safely and efficiently in accordance with established procedures and work instructions.
· Load CNC programs and verify program settings prior to beginning production.
· Make minor program and machine adjustments as required to maintain product quality and production efficiency.
· Install machine accessories, including pins, cutting tools, templates, and other required tooling.
· Monitor machine operations to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency.
· Plan and schedule assigned tasks by monitoring machine operations and prioritizing work according to production requirements.
· Read and understand engineering drawings, bills of material, work instructions, and other production documentation.
· Check completed work for defects and non-conformances using appropriate measuring devices and inspection equipment.
· Operate hand-held tools to deburr, clean, and assemble components.
· Identify and report defects, quality issues, and non-conformances to the appropriate supervisor.
· Perform basic troubleshooting and minor machine adjustments when required.
· Maintain accurate production and quality documentation as required.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
· Follow established company standards, rules, policies, procedures, work instructions, and directions.
· Work within guidelines established in the company Quality Management System (QMS) and follow applicable ISO-approved procedures.
· Follow all applicable health and safety policies and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
· Work cohesively with team members and other departments to meet production and quality requirements.
· Demonstrate the ability to remain calm, focused, and productive when working under pressure and meeting production deadlines.
· Participate in process improvement initiatives and contribute to workflow efficiency.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.
Experience Qualifications and Related Skills:
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· CAD Certificate or formal CAD training.
· 1–2 years of experience operating CNC Router equipment.
· Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and bills of material.
· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to use measuring devices and inspection equipment.
· Ability to operate hand-held tools for deburring, cleaning, and assembly.
· Basic computer skills and ability to work with CNC machine control systems.
· Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
Education Qualifications:
· High School Diploma
· CAD Certificate or equivalent experience
Working Conditions & Physical Demands:
· Heavy Lifting – Up to 50 lbs.
· Fast paced environment.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs specifically Word, Excel & Outlook.
· Manufacturing facility.
· Long period at times of walking out on the floor to ensure things are getting done.
· Regular exposure to operating machinery, noise, dust, and manufacturing materials.
· Reliable transportation is required due to the scheduled hours of work.
· Additional hours or overtime may be required based on operational and production requirements.
