Schedule
Full-Time; Seasonal; $20.00/hr. Flexibility in shifts, however early morning and weekend availability required.
Summary
The Mechanic Shop Assistant role involves supporting the Equipment Manager with various tasks related to repairing and maintaining golf course and shop equipment. The Mechanic Shop Assistant will assist in tasks such as changing tires, oil, and filters. Helping with diagnostics, reel maintenance, and keeping the workspace clean and organized. This position provides valuable hands-on experience in the field of mechanics.
Responsibilities
- Follow and adhere to Glendale’s Core Values, Mission, and Vision Statement.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook.
- Support the Equipment Manager with various tasks related to repairing and maintaining golf equipment such as changing tires, changing oil & filters, helping with diagnostics, and assisting in reel set up and maintenance.
- Assist in the care and maintenance of the golf course as required.
- Safely operate equipment and tools used to complete daily tasks.
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and all work areas.
Skills and Qualifications
- Broad range of skill set is an asset
- Mechanically inclined is an asset
- Ability to lift minimally 50lbs
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Quick learner and great attention to detail
