Overview
We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining clean, organized, and welcoming residential homes and professional commercial spaces.
This position may include residential and commercial cleaning, depending on scheduling and client needs. Strong time-management, organizational skills, attention to detail, and professionalism are essential. Our cleaners represent our company while working in clients’ homes and businesses, so reliability, respect, and excellent customer service are extremely important.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential homes and commercial spaces.
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, sanitize, and disinfect surfaces.
- Clean kitchens, bathrooms, offices, common areas, bedrooms, and high-traffic areas.
- Complete detailed cleaning tasks while maintaining company standards.
- Empty garbage and recycling and leave all areas clean and organized.
- Complete laundry-related tasks in residential settings when requested, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing.
- Follow cleaning checklists, schedules, and company procedures.
- Properly use and care for cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Communicate professionally with clients and management regarding cleaning needs or concerns.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled hours.
- Work independently and as part of a team when required.
- Provide friendly, respectful, and professional customer service.
- Maintain client privacy and respect personal belongings, homes, businesses, and workspaces.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous residential or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality, janitorial services, or customer service is an asset.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
- Professional, respectful, and friendly attitude.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently.
- Comfortable working in both residential homes and commercial environments.
