Kitchen Help
Pay: $18.00–$22.00 per hour
Duties
-Assist with food preparation by washing, cutting, chopping, and organizing ingredients according to kitchen requirements.
-Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, food preparation, and storage areas.
-Perform regular cleaning duties, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and ensuring all workstations remain clean and safe.
-Assist with barbecue operation and maintenance, including cleaning equipment, preparing charcoal or fuel, and following proper usage procedures.
-Handle food products with care, ensuring proper storage and safe food handling practices.
-Support cooks and kitchen staff during busy service periods to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
-Follow food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety guidelines at all times.
-Assist with receiving, organizing, and stocking kitchen supplies as needed.
Experience
-Previous experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
-Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is an asset.
-Familiarity with kitchen equipment and barbecue operation is beneficial; training will be provided.
-Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
-Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
-A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential.
