Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled TIG Welder/Fitter/Polisher to join our manufacturing team. This role involves precise welding, fitting, and finishing of metal components, primarily utilizing TIG welding techniques. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Architectural metal fabrication , blueprint reading, and various fabrication processes. Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on various metal parts according to detailed blueprints and schematics
- Fit and assemble components using hand tools, power tools, and machining equipment
- Polish finished welds to meet quality standards and aesthetic requirements
- Conduct routine inspections using calipers and other measuring tools to ensure precision
- Follow safety protocols related to welding, machining, and manufacturing environments
- Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and assembly instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Experience
- Proven experience in TIG welding, MIG welding, and general fabrication within a manufacturing or construction setting
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting, press brake machines, and schematics reading
- Experience with rigging, forklift handling, machining, and blueprint interpretation is a plus
- Ability to perform basic math calculations relevant to fabrication tasks such as measurements and tolerances
- Knowledge of welding codes and safety standards in manufacturing environments

Pay: $25.00-$33.00 per hour
