We are seeking a Solar Panel Installer with over 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities

Install solar panels, inverters, and mounting hardware according to design specifications and industry best practices.

Perform electrical wiring and connections, including conduit installation, wire routing, and terminations, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.

Conduct system testing, including voltage measurements, insulation resistance tests, and performance evaluations, to ensure proper installation and functionality.

Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, such as wiring faults, circuit interruptions, and equipment malfunctions, and implement effective solutions to resolve problems.

Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), fall protection, and lockout/tagout procedures, to prevent accidents and ensure a safe work environment.

Maintain accurate records of installation activities, including work performed, materials used, and equipment specifications, to support project documentation and quality assurance.

Interact professionally with clients and project stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, addressing customer concerns, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
1. Minimum of 6 years of experience as an electrician, with a focus on electrical installations and wiring systems.
2. Must be Red Seal certified.
3. Valid electrical license or certification required. Additional certifications in solar photovoltaic (PV) systems installation are a plus.
4. Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues using systematic problem-solving techniques and testing equipment.
5. Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders, conveying technical information clearly and concisely.
6. Ability to work at heights, lift heavy equipment, and perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
