About Acton Academy Calgary Central
Acton Academy Calgary Central is an independent elementary school offering a learner-centred educational experience grounded in the Alberta curriculum.
We believe children become increasingly capable when they engage in meaningful work, accept real responsibility, receive thoughtful guidance, and are given opportunities to think deeply about their learning.
Our approach draws from Montessori, inquiry, project-based learning, educational research, and learner-driven education to create an environment that is academically rigorous, developmentally appropriate, and deeply engaging.
We are seeking an outstanding elementary educator to guide our multi-age Kindergarten to Grade 2 classroom.
More than experience with any particular educational model, we are looking for someone who is intellectually curious, reflective, collaborative, and committed to continually improving their practice.
