Full job description | Part-Time In-Person Teacher
Are you studying to become a teacher or already an Ontario Certified Teacher and looking for flexible, meaningful work with students?
At Basecamp, you'll gain valuable teaching experience and helping students become more confident, capable learners.
This isn't a traditional tutoring-centre job. You'll work in small groups (up to 3 students at a time), creating customized sessions based on their individual needs, learning styles and goals.

This Could Be a Great Fit for You If...
You are:
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Education/teacher education program or are an Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT)
- Experienced working with children or teens through teaching, tutoring, camps, coaching, childcare or other educational settings
- Patient, encouraging and able to connect with students
- Creative and comfortable adapting your approach when a student isn't understanding something
- Dependable and committed to the students you work with
- Interested in building meaningful experience in education

Location
We are currently hiring tutors for our Oakville campus
Important: This is an in-person tutoring position. Tutors must live in or near one of these communities and be able to travel locally to students' homes.
