Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking orders, and delivering drinks promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Manage cash transactions accurately using the POS system while ensuring proper handling of cash and credit card payments.
- Adhere to all food safety and alcohol service regulations to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of beverages and supplies, reporting any shortages as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of food orders when applicable.
- Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally, striving for resolution to enhance guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in bartending or a similar role within the food industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and alcohol service regulations.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods.
