Ritestart Limited is seeking a Sr. Construction OLS Surveyor to join our team in Canada. This pivotal role involves overseeing survey operations to ensure precise measurements and data collection for our construction projects. Your expertise will contribute directly to the successful delivery of our high-quality infrastructure and building projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate survey activities on construction sites to ensure accurate data collection and measurement.
- Manage survey data effectively to facilitate project progress and compliance.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to interpret survey data and provide actionable insights.
- Ensure all survey activities adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of survey operations and results for quality assurance.
- Assist in resolving any technical issues related to surveying equipment or data management.
- Support the integration of survey data into project planning and execution phases.
Qualifications
- Successful candidate MUST be OLS Certified through AOLS.
- Proven experience as a Surveyor in large-scale construction projects.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, CAD, and data collection techniques.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and surveying standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in surveying are preferred.
- Experience with data management systems is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Work Environment
- Work will take place both in office (Burlington) and on construction sites (spanning across the GTA and outside of the GTA).
- Possible remote and out of town work.
- The successful candidate will be exposed to varying weather elements and must be able to carry surveying equipment to/from the vehicle, and will be required to set up and dismantle equipment.
