Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring quick and efficient processing
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering duties and cash handling procedures
- Assist with food preparation and food handling to uphold safety standards and quality
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, dining spaces, and kitchen stations in compliance with food safety regulations
- Support upselling efforts by recommending menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and sales
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during busy hours while maintaining attention to detail in all tasks
Qualifications
- Prior food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with restaurant operations and guest interactions
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to handle food safely, including proper food handling, sanitation practices, and understanding basic math for transactions
- Experience with food preparation, serving, cashiering, or kitchen work is a plus
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
