We are seeking a dedicated and organized Treatment Coordinator to join our dental practice. Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for patients regarding treatment plans, financial arrangements, and appointment scheduling
- Explain dental procedures and treatment options clearly to patients, ensuring understanding and comfort
- Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure timely delivery of treatments and follow-up care
- Manage electronic medical records accurately and efficiently
- Assist patients with insurance processing, payment options, and financing plans
- Schedule appointments and reschedule as needed to optimize practice workflow
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and office policies
- Support the front office team with administrative tasks related to patient care and documentation
Requirements
- Prior experience in a dental or medical office setting is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and electronic medical records systems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly
- Office experience demonstrating organizational skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of dental office operations and patient management processes is a plus
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism
- Proficiency in computer applications relevant to healthcare documentation and scheduling
