Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Framer/Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team! In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures made from wood, concrete, and other materials. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute precise framing and carpentry work
- Build and install frameworks for walls, floors, roofs, and other structural components using hand tools and power tools
- Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks to create durable foundations and structural elements
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts or cranes safely to assist with material handling and positioning
- Conduct siding installation and restoration work to improve building aesthetics and weatherproofing
- Use welding techniques when necessary for structural reinforcement or custom fabrication
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks to move materials safely around the job site while adhering to safety protocols
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a strong background in carpentry and woodworking techniques
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation
- Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, and restoration processes
- Familiarity with siding installation and general building maintenance practices
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights
- Excellent attention to detail combined with a proactive approach to safety standards
