Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and goods to various destinations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport freight and goods to assigned locations.
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and perform basic maintenance or automotive repairs when necessary.
- Assist with freight handling, including securing loads and verifying shipment accuracy.
- Maintain proper documentation of deliveries, including delivery receipts and logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding delivery status.
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws during transportation activities.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record is required.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate documentation.
- Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks related to freight handling.
- Must pass background checks and adhere to safety standards at all times.
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
