Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role involves preparing high-quality food items, assisting with meal assembly, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare ingredients and assist with food prep to ensure timely service
- Cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist with plating and presentation of dishes for service
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene
- Support the kitchen team during busy periods, including assisting with meal assembly
- Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained properly
- Help with inventory management by rotating stock and notifying management of supplies needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills and good communication abilities
- Experience in serving or restaurant environments is a plus
- Kitchen experience within the food industry is desirable but not essential
- A passion for culinary arts and a commitment to quality service
