Position Summary
Dairy Lane Systems is seeking a reliable, organized, and customer-focused Parts Person to join our team in Blackfalds, Alberta. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with other parts persons in managing inventory, assisting customers and technicians with parts requirements, receiving and shipping products, and maintaining an efficient parts department.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers, service technicians, and internal staff with parts inquiries and orders.
- Identify, source, and recommend appropriate parts and components.
- Receive, inspect, and accurately process incoming shipments.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or shipment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and stock management.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with purchasing and replenishment activities.
- Organize and maintain a clean, safe, and efficient parts warehouse.
- Process returns, warranty claims, and supplier communications as required.
- Maintain accurate records using inventory and business management software.
- Support the service department by ensuring timely availability of required parts.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Parts Person, Warehouse Associate, Inventory Coordinator, or similar role is preferred.
- Knowledge of agricultural, dairy, mechanical, or industrial equipment is considered an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience with inventory management systems.
- Forklift experience or certification is an asset.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Working Conditions
- Full-time position.
- Working as a team with other parts persons
- Combination of warehouse, parts counter, and office duties.
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Fast-paced environment requiring multitasking and attention to detail.
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
