Job Summary
IPC Academy is seeking a caring, organized, and passionate Grade 3/4 Teacher to join our growing school community. The successful candidate will provide engaging instruction aligned with the Ontario curriculum while upholding the school's Islamic values and mission.
Responsibilities
- Teach Grade 3 and 4 students following the Ontario curriculum and the Islamic studies program
- Prepare lesson plans, classroom activities, and student assessments
- Create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment
- Monitor student progress and provide regular updates to parents and administration
- Maintain attendance, report cards, and student records
- Support students academically, socially, and emotionally
- Communicate professionally with parents, staff, and school administration
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development days
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
- Help organize classroom and school activities

- Follow school policies and contribute to school improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or equivalent
- OCT certification preferred
- Experience teaching elementary students is an asset
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents
