Job Summary
We are hiring part-time and full-time Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) with a minimum of 2200 hrs of training.
Essence Wellness Clinic is a multi-disciplinary clinic with four locations in Calgary. We offer Naturopathic Medicine, Acupuncture, Massage, Dietitian services, Osteopathy, Counselling and Esthetics. We are an established, professional, beautiful, highly organized and well-run clinic.
Four clinic locations we are hiring for and the addresses:
1. Marda Loop location - #305, 3425 22 ST SW
2. Sage Hill location - #111, 60 Sage Hill Plaza NW
3. Willow Park location - #100, 10816 Macleod Trail SE
4. Mahogany location - #1440, 80 Mahogany Rd SE

Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, ethical, and client-centred massage therapy treatments
- Conduct thorough client intakes, assessments, and obtain informed consent
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete SOAP notes in accordance with regulatory standard
- Arrive on time and be fully prepared for scheduled appointments
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with clients, staff, and other practitioners
- Represent the clinic in a positive and professional manner at all times
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized treatment room between appointments
- Properly handle linens, equipment, and clinic supplies according to clinic protocols
- Follow clinic policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Use the clinic’s booking and charting systems accurately and consistently
- Maintain consistent availability as agreed upon with clinic management
- Provide adequate notice for schedule changes, time off, or absences
- Adhere to clinic policies regarding cancellations, no-shows, and coverage
Qualifications
- Valid massage therapy license or certification as required by state regulations.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Excellent communication skills to explain treatment procedures clearly and empathetically.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while providing relaxing and effective treatments.
- Prior experience in a spa or wellness setting is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided if necessary.
