Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Cold Calling Sales Representative to join our team as an Independent Contractor. This role involves engaging potential clients through outbound calls to generate new business opportunities and expand our customer base. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong sales background, and the ability to build rapport with prospects. Fluency in English and French is preferred, along with experience in B2B sales, technology sales, or inside sales environments. This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work remotely while contributing to our business development efforts.
Duties
- Conduct outbound cold calls to prospective clients across various industries to introduce our products and services
- Identify potential customer needs and tailor sales pitches accordingly
- Negotiate terms and close sales agreements effectively, ensuring mutual benefit
- Maintain detailed records of interactions and update CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop strategies for lead generation and outreach campaigns
- Follow up with leads generated from marketing efforts or previous contacts
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving concerns professionally
- Develop and nurture relationships with new clients to foster long-term partnerships
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and product updates to enhance sales effectiveness
Experience
- Proven experience in B2B sales, inside sales, or telemarketing roles, preferably within technology or business development sectors
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals effectively
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or similar tools
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable
- Background in marketing or technical sales is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as an effective self-starter with minimal supervision
- Prior experience in customer service or business development enhances success in this role
