Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and efficient Dishwasher to join our team. Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all areas are organized and sanitary
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met
- Ensure all dishes are stored correctly after cleaning to prevent damage or contamination
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment
- Support the overall cleanliness of the kitchen area, including sweeping and mopping floors when necessary
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards
- Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or food service environments is preferred
- Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food handling practices
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours
- Good organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy items when necessary
